Prof. Moe Tanana, PhD, LLM, MHA, MA, MCIArb, NSLS

Chairman and Founder

Professor Moe Tanana is a dedicated and passionate advocate for positive change. With a strong passion for, and commitment to human rights education, healthcare, environmental and sustainable development initiatives, he has been actively involved in project management across various types of organizations. His unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of various culturally diversified communities has made him an invaluable asset to our team.

He brings a wealth of skills, experience and expertise to our organization, including but not limited to, mediation and arbitration, human rights, consulting, building relationships, globalization and international economy, the environment, and leadership. He is known for being consistent, persistent, and timely in undertaking duties and responsibilities, and serving communities responsibly and professionally. He played an integral role in the European International Model United Nations at the Security Council as well as the International Court of Justice in the Hague Netherlands, on issues relating to Sub Saharan Africa. He served as a professor at a number of academic universities and institutions in healthcare administration. While a professor, he was honored an exemplary award as the best professor for academic teaching and excellence. He was also a consultant managing healthcare organizations including compliance. He is also director to HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCE ALHASHEMI in international trading in world class commodities, connecting global supply chains including Royal Members from the Middle East to Southeast Asia. He has been a member and public speaker in GREENPEACE educating on the environment. He is also a consultant in International Mediation and Arbitration, as well as in International Human Rights. He is distinguished for being a full member with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is nominated to The National Society of Leadership and Success.

Outside of his work with Global Hope Foundation, he enjoys travelling, writing publishable books in healthcare and human rights, and helping others.

He embodies our organization’s values and plays a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. We are fortunate to have him as part of our dedicated team, and his contributions continue to inspire and empower us all.

Annie Phiri, MHA, BSc, Six Sigma Black Belt, NSLS

Vice Chair and Co-Founder

Annie has been a Principal Statistical Programmer in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Contract Research Organizations for over 15 years where she has worked in various roles.

She brings in a wealth of experience, knowledge, expertise in charity work in bringing positive change and making a difference in people’s lives in her communities and beyond. She has so far managed to build a house for an orphaned family of six children in Malawi and continues her support by providing school fees, uniforms, school supplies, and day to day necessities for the orphans including food and making sure these kids have access to education and makes sure these kids stay in school. Annie believes that everyone has the right to access quality education and healthcare which is in alignment with the Vision for Global Hope Foundation.

Annie earned an MHA (Masters in Healthcare Administration) from Walden University where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems Management(BIS) from Utah State University.

Annie is an accomplished Six Sigma Black Belt graduate from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). She has obtained certifications in 21st Century Leadership, Process improvement, and Project Management among others.

Sanja Thomas

Director and Co-Founder

Sanj’a Thomas has spent over two decades working in various management roles across different sectors in Corporate America. During this time, she developed a deep appreciation for serving a diverse population and felt compelled to give back to the communities.
Innovation, moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart for everything she does. Sanj’a have had the privilege of becoming an influential leader in the business world. In 2007, she emerged as a visionary and trailblazer, taking the helm as the founder of the acclaimed IQ Business Academy. Her unwavering passion for promoting economic empowerment to underserved communities was the driving force behind this groundbreaking endeavor.

Through her leadership, she became a thriving business owner. Notably, Sanj’a launched her enterprise at the esteemed International Institute, firmly establishing herself as a respected authority in the field of business education. Completing her education at Detroit College of Business,  Liberty University, and Detroit Entrepreneur Institute.

Her academic curriculum, the “How to Birth Your Business Series,” enabled hundreds of students to gain financial support from The Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Center for Empowerment Economic Development (CEED). Along with business certifying as MBO and MWBO to students on a local and national level.

She has contracted with a range of organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to startups and non-profit entities, in both secular and Ecclesia assemblies. She is committed to developing and equipping a DEI culture of people from all walks of life, breaking down barriers to success.

Sanj’a is also a licensed ordained minister and serves on a council advocating for Survivors Speak victims compensation rights. Through her nonprofit work she has helped legislature bring historic changes. These reforms expanded access to more survivors can get the help they needed and deserved. Known for her philanthropic efforts, assisting individuals in accessing available resources and achieving their objectives.

Her national leadership skills have earned her recognition and awards from organizations such as Chambers of Women’s Entrepreneurs of America, where she served as the chapter president, and Nawbo Professional Women. She is deeply committed to creating inclusivity for equal access to education, healthcare, cultural norms and values, technologies, and natural resources as well as fostering a global economic ecosystem that provides equal access to wealth and legacy building, regardless of one’s background or beliefs.

HH Princess Dato’ Seri Dr Romona Murad

Her Highness Princess Dato’ Seri Dr Romona Murad (SSAS, DSMP, DMP, SMP, MIPR), a Malaysian, is the Founder and Managing Director of Romona Consultancy and Management. Currently, she is holding position as Ambassador-At-Large to Malaysia for the International Human Rights Organization (IHRO). She also holds the position as the Chairperson for the Royal Society Group Malaysia which is under the Royal Society Group World based in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia. She is a Member of the Patron of the Euro Asia Financial Policy Forum (EAFPF) based in Italy. Besides these positions, Her Highness is an Ambassador of Peace with INSPAD (Institute of Peace and Development), based in Brussels, Belgium. Not to mention, Her Highness is also the Chairperson for the International Commission for Malaysia – IOPSH to activate International Humanitarian Law for Peace effective March 2020.

She is also a Member of the International Forum to Support the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations effective 7th April 2020.psum.

Her Highness is a United Refugee Green Council Ambassador & Spokes Person on Housing, Education, Health & Socio-Economic Issues of Refugees in Malaysia effective 2014. She is also an Executive Board Member with Fight Cancer Global since 2019. In addition, Her Highness also holds position as Honorary President for Malaysia for Rockfield College of Sciences & Technology, Zurich, Switzerland.

Her Highness was appointed as Royal Society Group Commissioner for Heraldry and Sovereignty to Malaysia by the Royal Society Group on 8th February 2014. In addition, Her Highness was also appointed as Delegate to Malaysia by the Royal Society Group World as official representative to which the Royal Society Group and its affiliates conduct its foreign affairs on 5th January 2014. Her Highness Princess was appointed to hold position as Asia President for Chamber of Inter Commerce under the International Royal Academy of United Nations (IRAOUN) based in New York, USA. She was also Asia Executive Vice President for International Royal Academy of United Nations. Her Highness Princess Dato’ Seri Dr Romona Murad is the first woman from Asia to hold senior position with the International Royal Academy of United Nations. She is well–linked with networks all over the world.

Her Highness Princess was a winner of Top Women Icon Global 2020 by the Global Academy of Women Excellence, the Philippines on 8th March 2020 in commemoration of the International Women’s Month celebration. Her Highness was a recipient of the 2019 Africa Advancement Award under the category “Award for Humanity and Peace Advocacy” on 31st October 2019 in London, UK. She was also a recipient of the “Grand Order of the Noble Hand of Honor” from PALEDEC, Accra, Ghana on 7th September 2019. In 2014, Her Highness Princess was nominated as one of the “Most Influential Person in the World” in the area of peace and humanity by the International Council for Human Rights, Arbitration, Politics and Strategic Studies (ICHAPS) which is under the United Nations.

Her Highness Princess Dato’ Seri Dr Romona Murad was born as a royal Princess through her grandmother, Her Highness Tengku Hajar Tengku Muhammad Riau, who came from the lineage of the Sultanate of Kedah, Malaysia. Her Highness Princess came from the lineage of Alexander the Great also known as Iskandar Dzulqarnain from her father’s father side who were Sheikhs, Maulana Sheikhs, Sultans until Alexander the Great, who came from the lineage of Prophet Isaac and Prophet Abraham. Her Highness Princess was conferred the title Dame Commander – Cross of Merit by the Brasileira Society of Philosophy and Literature Teaching, Brazil and Commander-The Order Royal and Sovereign of the Arameans Lion King of Judah by HRH Prince Ydenir Prudenciano III Machado of Brazil. She is also the Honorable Council Member – Grand Order of the Council Honor of the Royal Society Dignitaries and Honorable Priority Members. Her Highness Princess also received the Sultan Special Award from His Royal Highness Sultan Ali A. Umpa, Royal House of Kapatangan, Sulu, the Philippines. Currently she is an Honorary Member of World Organizer of Martial Arts, USA and VAL Honorary Member and Malaysia Ambassador for VAL, Slovenia. She is also an Honorary Member of the International Royal Academy of United Nations.

Her Highness Princess was conferred Darjah Seri Setia Sultan Arif Shah, First Class (SSAS) from the Sultan of Inderagiri, Indonesia on 10th December 2014 which carries the title Dato’ Seri. She was conferred Darjah Setia Mahkota Pakoe Buwono (DSMP) from the Sultan of Surakarta, Solo, Indonesia in 2010 which carries the title Dato’. In 2009, she was conferred Darjah Mahkota Pakoe Buwono (DMP) which carries the title Datuk from the Sultan of Surakarta. In 2008 she was conferred a medal, Setia Mangku Pakoe Buwono (SMP) also from the Sultan of Surakarta

Her Highness Princess has vast experience in Public Relations, Communications, Advertising, Promotions, Sales, Marketing and Event Management. Her Highness is a member of the Institute Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM). She has with her more than 30 years experience in the corporate world. Among the companies that she was attached to were The Melewar Corporation, the Land and General, Amanah Raya Berhad, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, DiGi Telecommunications and Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (SYABAS), all in Malaysia. She is also actively involved with NGOs activities in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, UAE and other countries in Asia.

Her Highness received her Honorary Doctorate, Dra. H.C. in Human Rights and Preservation of the Environment in Asia from the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Lutheran Institute in October 2019. She also received an Honorary Doctorate (Dr) in Fine Arts and Management from the International Royal Academy of United Nations in 2011. She holds an MBA in Communications and Media from Berkeley International University, USA in 2007 and a BA in Political Science (concentration in Business Administration and English) from the University of Texas, Arlington USA in 1990. Her Highness attended the University of Texas, Arlington from 1987 – 1990 and Her Highness was a Recipient for Outstanding International Student Leader for 1990 and a Charter Member for the UTA Student Foundation 1990. Her Highness attended a boarding school in Malaysia, Sultan Abdul Halim Secondary School, Jitra, Kedah before she continued her education at the College of Preparatory Studies (ITM-TIEC) in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Her Highness Princess devotes her time for charities and non-profit organizations. She is now living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
